Comprehensive Educational Psychology Assessments
I offer thoughtful, in-depth assessments for children and adolescents experiencing difficulties with learning, attention, emotional wellbeing, school engagement, or day-to-day functioning.
Many families seek an assessment because they feel that something is not fully understood. A child may be bright but struggling in school, emotionally overwhelmed, finding friendships difficult, exhausted by the school day, or presenting differently at home and at school. Sometimes concerns relate to attention, anxiety, executive functioning, sensory differences, emotional regulation, or possible neurodivergent profiles.
My assessments are designed to build a detailed understanding of a young person’s strengths, needs, learning profile and experiences. They combine psychological assessment with careful formulation and practical recommendations that can support home life, education and emotional wellbeing.
The process typically includes:
· Parent consultation and developmental history
· Cognitive and learning assessment
· Exploration of attention, executive functioning and emotional wellbeing
· Review of school information and questionnaires
· Integrated formulation of strengths and areas of need
· Detailed written report with practical recommendations
· Feedback session with parents
I work with children and adolescents aged approximately –18 years.
